Terms and Conditions for MCATalyst Prep Course

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MCATalyst Content Workshop and all related courses, materials, and services (collectively, “the Course”), operated by MCATalyst Prep LLC (“MCATalyst,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By enrolling in, accessing, or using the Course, you (“you,” “the student,” or “the user”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not access or use the Course.


1. Course Purpose and Educational Scope

The Course provides organizational guidance, study frameworks, original practice questions, explanations, and educational materials designed to assist students preparing for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT).

The Course is intended solely for educational and informational purposes and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) or any medical school.


2. No Guarantee of Performance or Results

MCATalyst Prep LLC makes no guarantees or warranties regarding MCAT scores, percentile improvements, admissions outcomes, or academic success.

Your results depend on factors beyond our control, including study habits, prior knowledge, effort, test conditions, and individual circumstances. Enrollment in the Course does not ensure a particular outcome.


3. Content Accuracy, Coverage, and Updates

Course content is developed with care and informed by publicly available AAMC topic outlines; however:

The Course may reference or embed freely available third-party resources, including but not limited to YouTube videos, Anki decks, Khan Academy, or publicly accessible AAMC materials.

Any referrals, recommendations, or introductions to third parties (including tutors, programs, services, or resources) are provided solely at the discretion of MCATalyst Prep LLC.


6. Intellectual Property

All Course materials—including text, graphics, practice questions, explanations, course structure, and organization—are the exclusive intellectual property of MCATalyst Prep LLC.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, resell, publicly post, or share any Course materials without prior written permission. Unauthorized use may result in termination of access and legal action.


7. Payment, Subscription, and No-Refund Policy

Access to the Course requires a subscription fee of $5 per month per course, billed on a recurring monthly basis.

By enrolling, you explicitly acknowledge and accept this No Refund Policy. Pricing and packaging may change as future courses are introduced.


8. Account Access and User Responsibility

Course access is for individual use only.

10. No Professional, Medical, or Admissions Advice

The Course does not provide medical, legal, academic, or admissions counseling. All content is general educational information only.


11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MCATalyst Prep LLC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Course, including:

12. Platform Responsibility (Thinkific)

The Course is hosted and delivered through Thinkific, a third-party platform. MCATalyst Prep LLC is not responsible for outages, technical failures, data loss, or service interruptions caused by Thinkific or its partners.


13. Privacy and Data Use

By enrolling, you consent to the collection and use of personal information (e.g., name, email, progress data) necessary to operate the Course.

MCATalyst Prep LLC does not sell, rent, or share personal data outside of course administration and relies on Thinkific’s secure systems for data handling.


14. Updates to Terms and Conditions (Future Agreement Clause)

MCATalyst Prep LLC may update or modify these Terms at any time.

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to all future updates. Updated Terms apply immediately upon publication or notice (including email notice). Continued use of the Course constitutes acceptance.

If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must cancel your subscription and discontinue use.


15. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Course at any time, without refund, for violations of these Terms or misuse of Course materials.


16. Dispute Resolution

You agree to attempt informal resolution by contacting MCATalyst Prep LLC before initiating legal action.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dallas County, Texas.


17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
